Privacy policy
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Who we are
Évolia Web is a web design and SEO studio based in Québec. This website is operated by Évolia Web.
The person responsible for the protection of personal information can be reached by email at: info@evoliaweb.ca.
2. Information we collect
Contact form: when you write to us, we receive the information you choose to provide (name, email, company, website address, message). The form opens your email app: no data is stored on the site’s server.
Emails: if you write to us directly, we keep your message and our reply.
Browsing data: like any web server, the site’s host may log technical data (IP address, date, page viewed) for security and operational purposes.
We do not collect sensitive information and do not try to identify visitors to the site.
3. Why we use it
We use your information only to reply to your request, prepare a quote, follow up on the business relationship and improve our site. We do not sell or rent your information.
4. Cookies and local storage
Necessary: the site remembers your privacy choice in your browser’s local storage. This storage is essential for the banner to work and is not used to track you.
Audience measurement (optional): only if you accept, we may use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation to understand how the site is used. This data may be processed outside Québec, including in the United States. If you refuse, no measurement tool is loaded.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page.
5. Sharing with third parties
Your information may be processed by our technical providers (site hosting, email service and, if you accepted, Google Analytics). It is not shared with anyone else unless the law requires it.
6. Retention and security
We keep your information as long as needed to handle your request and follow up on the business relationship, then we destroy or anonymise it. We apply reasonable measures to protect it, including an HTTPS connection.
7. Your rights
You may request access to your information, correction or deletion, withdraw your consent, or ask any question about our practices by writing to info@evoliaweb.ca. We will respond within the time limits set by law.
You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
